It's going down
I woke up. I got dressed. I got in my car. I rode down the street. I almost crashed my car. You see I couldn't believe my eyes. I never thought I would see the day it was in the 2's again. Gas is 2 dollars and some change. I don't know what or how it happen but I'm happy it did. Instead of rushing to the pumps to fill up before the price goes up. I'm temped to wait until the next day to see how low it will go. Maybe one day the 1's will enter our lives again. Wishful thinking on my part. It's good to see you again 2s!

Poem of the Month
Describe Me
Hey can you describe me
Can you tell me how I am
Can you see through my skin
What would you say
Would you say I have nappy hair with curls at the end
Would you say I have a little extra weight in various places that I could stand to lose
Would you say I have a little extra money to spend when I have the blues
Would you judge me before I even spoke a word
Write me off as well understood and rude or would you stop and talk to me
Ask me questions to find out what's real or fake
What I'm all about
You know the way I talk
Would you find out the truth and ask yourself oh how true can it be is she lying to me
Or will you walk away feeling like you was mistreated because you heard brutal honesty
Ask me and you will receive nothing but the truth so help me god I know this is true
So I ask you again how would you describe me
Would you say I'm fair and sweet
Or would you say with a friend like her who needs enemies
I just wanted to know how would you describe me
Hey can you describe me
Can you tell me how I am

Be Heard!!
If you don't vote no one will here you. Even If you scream you will go unheard. If you think that no one listens to you now, oh boy just wait until you make the wrong decision and don't vote. Usually I don't tell people how to think or what to do, but in this case it affects me and my people and you too. So I'm gonna have to ask you to vote. Help save us from great depression number two. Make a difference, have a voice, speak loud and clear and pass it on to those that are listening even to the ones that are not. Our life as we know it depends on you. Yes it's that serious. Care about yourself and the people around you have a voice and vote.
We need change cause we can't afford more of the same!!!

Don't Break the Glass
Did someone break a mirror in the White House and just brushed the shattered pieces underneath the couch? They must have, but our seven years is up, we have served our time. So please let's be careful not to shatter another looking glass and leave our country in pieces.

Lights Out!
For all of my fellow Jacksonville, Fl residents. Lets talk a little bit about our electricity company we like to call good ole JEA. It's amazing to me as big as Jacksonville is we have only one electric company. Wow it's crazy i know. Anyways good ole, good ole JEA is what we call a monopoly it's all we got and it's something we need; can't really live without it. When you first get JEA you have to pay a deposit either 300 or 200 depends on where you live. If they apply it to your bill it's lump sum not split up. Amongst all the other deposits and fees you had to pay to move in, in the first place. Some how the bill is always due at the end of the month or the beginning either way around the same time rent is do. And if you think you can call and get a payment arrangement just forget it. It's not going to happen. It could be for several different reasons. To name a few( sorry can't make a payment arrangemanet the first six months or sorry can't make a payment arrangement on pass due balances). So basically pay or light candles and there is no getting a month behind. You're shut off when the next bill rolls around (now where did I put my flash light). Be aware when you are late or can't pay your bill at all and additional deposit is added to your account. Yeah! Yeah! I know what you're thinking, if I can't even pay my regular bill what make you think i can pay a deposit? Right! I know we can't win for losing. Then they decided to increase there rates. I guess gas is the blame here too. Now! Now! I'm not being fair their employees do need their bonuses. Let's give them a round of applause they must be taking the payments right and have the phrase no payment arrangement can be made sorry! Forgive me for thinking about our poor people that have to limit our light usage, hot water usage, air condition cause we can sweat, take cold shower's and read in the dark! Because they must receive their precious bonus. There is no trying to figure out how your bill jumped from $150 to $200, because looking at your JEA bill is not like looking at your cell phone bill, now way to tell your usage from that bill. There is no threaten to leave and go some place else; let me remind you it's a monopoly. There is no one else. All we got is good ole good ole JEA. So get your check or cash ready and go stand in line (no debit or credit card can be used) and pay your bill. Because as big a city as we are JEA is our one and only electricity provider.
It takes just 8 weeks!!
In 8 weeks you too can become homeless! Not that you would want to. Neither do I but seems like i'm headed that way. Yes I am headed to homeless land and it only took 8 short weeks. I don't know if you want to call it luck not unless you put bad in front of it. See I lost my job for the for the 3rd time in less than a year. Filed for what they call emergency unemployment over 2 months ago. No money no anything just people telling me a decision have not yet been made and they have had over 200,000 claims, I guess my name falls in that pile. In the mean time I have been living with out money pretty much that whole time. My so called roommate a friend of mine that I known for about 15 yrs moved out and left me with nothing. Sometimes when you have nothing you are sure to get something and in my case that something turn out to be eviction notice, phone off, no money, no food, and then darkness would soon fall my way. So my something really left me with nothing. It's hard looking for a job with no money, no gas and no bus fare. And the government is talking about a $700 billion bailout. I'm just looking for the $1700 in unemployment to come my way so I can know where I will lay my head the next day. Does it really take 8 weeks to decide on a yes or no considering I have been in the system for almost a year. And to think they call this emergency unemployment, if 911 react time was like this would one could just walk to the hospital with bullet wounds and all. On top of all this someone tried to steal my car, i guess it's time to brush of the old boots and to get to walking.
